Was it 'The Choirboys' by Joseph Wambaugh where a guy has to go to casualty with a screwdriver sticking out of his ass. He'd been trying to tickle his prostrate to achieve the result of which Richard is so curious, but due to muscle spasm the screwdriver had become stuck Served him right, everyone knows you should use a ratchet!!!
