Last I saw, reddit was busy getting him a job at a local station.. not clear 100% on details but someone offered $15,000 to the station to start him with a job, and many people have donated to fund his salary. Pretty awesome.

 

he got a house and a job with pretty damn good salary, apparently after the video went viral there was a bidding war on who gets to hire him haha, awesome story.
