Damn those are cheap!
However... My girlfriends suit case could have been a little less in length.. and width... but depth... thats the kicker.. In short.. we were driving from O'hare to Rockford with a spare tire on top of her.

i've actually done this with my friends. I put it in the trunk and used a bungee to hold the trunk down. Put a towel over the bike so it doesn't rub the trunk lid or you'll have paint chips.
