While I was at the Tint Shop getting StonGard installed, the lobby had a TV playing the "Mischief DVD" made by Teckademics. It basically documents illegal street racing, burnouts, etc.

The most appaling was amateur videos of people beating the sh!t out of perfectly good cars. One clip showed someone take a brand new Nissan Maxima and goes off road with it. Completely wrecks it. Another shows this person takes a brand new Ford Explorer and jumps this huge ramp, only to land and create this enormous sparks show. WHAT KIND OF FOOL WOULD DO THIS STUFF??? Stupidity does not begin to describe this kind of action..

Teckademics is also putting together Mischief 3000, about the Gum Ball 3000. from the 5 minute trailer I saw of it, I expect 3000 to be AWESOME!

 

The cars were most likely rentals. I know people who have rented a car with the max insurance and taken then out jumping it and such. The car had to be towed back on a flatbed it that tells you anything.

there is a current version of Mischief that has a lot of imports in it. if you want a copy of it, they are up for grabs at $25.00 shipped to your door (shipped 1st class priority mail).

Not to piss off any retailers, but I got the Mischief DVD at Best Buy for $14.99. This vid is not near as cool as the Mischief 3000 trailer, I can't wait for that one.

 

Its a funny thing you mentioned about Best Buy for $14.99. They do not have any more, nor will they have anymore - at least for a while. The makers of the video, Teckademics did not authorize Best Buy to carry their videos and doesn't know where Best Buy is getting them from. Teckademics is currently pursuing Best Buy in regards to possible forgeries or false retailing in how they obtained them.

Doesnt' piss me off at all, because you can't get anymore at Best Buy. So... $25 shipped, no tax, that's what I charge. To some people, they will take it, to others, they'll wait for the big chains like Best Buy to obtain the vids.

 

I went to a local car show were import tuner had a tent set up, I bumped into a guy that was selling the DVD for 20 bucks.. I bought it and it was the best 20 bucks I spent! My boyfriend think so too...since he likes the girls in bikini contest!
