I'm old old OLD school -- gotcha all beat here.
My dad used to take me to see matches back around 1970, '71...I got to see some big names who used to work the West Coast circuit.
Ray Stevens...Pat Patterson...Peter Maivia...Rocky Johnson (The Rock's father!)
Back then, wrestling wasn't nearly as popular as it is today and it had more of a "trailer trash" rep, which made it even cooler to me!
I re-discovered it back in the mid-80s (Hogan, Savage, Piper on WWE, along with the NWA crews out of Atlanta w/Cornette running the show).
I just don't follow wrestling any more.
