Miss Universe '04!
In my opinion
the right woman won. Paraguay was beautiful but Miss Australia won in the swimsuit part of the competition. She was very comfortable looking, had a great attitude (and body!) and was bubbling over with personality. Unlike Miss USA who looked like she was always laughing at some inside joke and it all was so funny. Booring...
Way to go Australia!

I agree the US didn't have the best contestant. Neither did Paraguay IMO.

what exactly defines a woman as "beautiful?" every culture has it's own standards. i've never watched any of these beauty pagents...opps, sorry..."SCHOLARSHIP" competitions, but i'm curious to know on what basis are these judges using to define as to who's worthy of being miss universa/usa...etc?
all of the contestants are beautiful, some with more defined ethnic features than others. so should we "penalize" a contestant for looking too asian, or too black? it seems as though the more "white" you look, the more beautiful you are.
i know there's a very fine line between race and ethnicity. i just wanna know how these women are being judged to win the contest other than questions with ambiguous answers.

My best friend used to date Miss USA. She's a hot chick. I always wanted to hit it but I had a girlfriend. Never knew she would be Miss USA or I would definitely have. You know braggin rights.
I mean for real... c'mon she's HOT!
