Default More Chins than a Chinese Phonebook

I'm sure we all have heard the saying before...in reference to an obese person
"He's got more chins than a Chinese phonebook"

Which got me to thinking...'I don't know anyone named Chin'
thus came the phonebook search...there are only 2 Chins in my city's phonebook!

Do any of you know any Chins?
Do any of you have the name Chin?
How many Chins are in your phonebook?

I've got a friend who's "Chinn" - according to his dad, that's "Chen" in Cantonese, but the mandarin "Chen" is not the same as say Jackie Chen's "Chen", because they're 2 different words.

I think the newer ways of spelling, ie "Zhang" instead of "Chang", or "Xu" instead of "Hsu" would be more helpful in the future.

Chin...in most cases would be referring to your "Last" name.
My last name is "Chin".

Try Chen, Chin is not the most popular.

Chen, Huang, Lee, Lim, Lam....all those are the more popular Chinese last names.

Slightly OT but over here we have a "Chinese" restaurant called "Chin Chin".

Not much to talk about except that if you speak Japanese, the name is quite funny. They serve dim-sum, but by the name I thought it might be sausage.
