that is easily a panic situation. she had the presence of mind to release the trigger (stopping fuel flow) and remove the pump fro the filler neck ( allowing the the flap to close and prevent the flame being fed by fumes from the tank) and went for help.

worse could have happened. i wouldn't call her a dumb bitch.

her first mistake was to re adjust that sweater she had on causing static electricity...next time she should pump gas naked as she looked kinda cute.

 

right next to the signs that warn you not to smoke, use a cell phone, and ground out static electricity?

 

the reason you see the no smoking signs at a gas pump or around petroleum gas ,is the lighter used to light the cigarette, the actual cherry on the cigarette is at a lower temperature than the flash point of gasoline, the cell phone thing has been disproved
but the only one thats a real danger is the static spark
when she got in her car i knew what was going to happen ,then she adjusted her sweater,which made it worst

 

I don't give a shit whether or not they've been disproven, there's a sign for a reason.

 

I thought she did a good job of not panicking.
