That's ridiculous! Whoever oversees roadworks would pick up some serious repair bills I think. I billed the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario (Canada) once for a serious ridge in the road due to construction that wasn't marked and blew my two front tires at less than the speed limit. Apparently I was not the only one.
