In high school a buddy and I did a driver swap in a Mercury Sable Wagon.

Here's the catch:

The initial driver went out the window and pulled himself on top of the roof via the roof rack. Inital passenger then slid over to the driver seat. The initial driver who is now on the roof climbed back into the car through the passengers side window. All of this went on while doing atleat 40+mph on some straight back roads with very low traffic. Still very stupid, please don't lecture me, I know.

We were stupid and did this many times in front of friends as they drove behind us. I have it on video somewhere. Let me see if I can round it up.

170mph+ on my bike when I owned one on two separate occasions.

Driving while sleep deprived. (Never again, sucks big time).

Freeclimbing (rock climbing without ropes or a harness).

Shooting video of motorcycles by standing right at the edge of the track at VIR.

Shooting video of a boat by standing on the edge of the bow and holding on to one of the sail's ropes to be able to get the ship's name in the shot.

Standing up to a guy with a gun pointed at me after a traffic altercation and telling him to pull the trigger.

That's crazy. I couldn't imagine doing anything like that

My life is kind of boring haven't really done any stupid shit in quite a while... kinda sucks! Hence in my sig "We've only got one, don't waste it!" however, seems to be the case for me.

Jumped off a 65-75 foot high grain elevator, that feeds a cargo ship, into the water. Ouch.

painting on the second floor of a 3-story house in worn out sneakers and standing on the paint cloth without any safety equipment. falling down and landing on both feet. then realizing that i could have been skewered by a metal pole that was 1 foot to right.

I was on some beach in Hawaii and the waves were about 12ft breaking close to shore. Caution flags were out, and only one guy was in the water body surfing, and he looked like he knew what he was doing. How hard can it be? I think I will try one. Diving through them to go out deeper was no problem, and I have been told to not go straight with the wave but ride it diagonally or you will get rolled.

Large wave coming, I time my lunge and the second I lunge the ripe tide yanks me backwards into the oncoming wave and I get obliterated. Just obliterated. The difference in power from three foot surf to something about 12 feet is something I can not descibe but you have to experience it. Its like being hit by a train. I got rolled on the bottom of the ocean all the way to shore fairly violently. When I struggled to my feet my right arm was raised above my head, and the ball part of the bone that fits in the shoulder socket was sticking out of my back, not through the skin but just bulging out.

I had to grab my elbow with my other arm and yank it back into the socket. My whole shoulder joint had to be reworked because I tore EVERYTHING.

I later find out that this beach routinely snaps peoples necks that try to do the exact same thing I did. I suppose most dangerous and dumbest thing I ever did are kind of the same thing.
