Wait a minute, "That's because police didn't actually catch them in the act and acted only on witness accounts. They weren't caught on radar, video or seen by a police officer, Superintendent Norm Gaumont, RCMP officer in charge of traffic enforcement for the Lower Mainland, told the Surrey Now newspaper."

So if HondaGal and C U AT 9K both told the police I was racing UmarS2K when all we were doing was sitting in a parking lot talking our cars could be towed and be could be given $196 tickets? There is just something very wrong with that.

I think multiple witness accounts would be needed in your case Plus you wouldn't be stupid enough to say you had done up to 200 Km at one point.

Not at all. I do think it is pretty stupid to give a kid a car that is as fast as these. It's a good way to kill them. As long as there are rich people that can afford to buy these cars there is always hope that someday I will be able to also.

I have a friend from Canada who said it is easy to make $200k a year up there by working in the oil sands. He had cousins that dropped out of high school at 16-17 and went to work for an oil company and are making $120k a year.

However I bet these kids don't work in the oil industry and just have rich parents. At the high school I went to a kid had a Viper and a Lambo because his dad owned a local realty or insurance company that was pretty big. He totaled the Viper shortly after he got it.

Just read in. The Globe and Mail that the province of BC plans on seizing at least 5 of the cars.

Oilsands money is in Alberta. These kids are from rich parents who could be doctors, big business people.
