Default Mulholland Drive - The Movie

I just saw this last weekend...what a freaky, crazy, spooky, spine tingling movie...

And it's beautiful.

I loved it (most hated it).

Any of you see it?

What did you think?

I haven't seen it, but this is the one that was filmed on the actual Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles right?

Yes it was, at night-time (overlooking Los Angeles). Very eerie and creepy movie. But it was incredible.

The only thing the movie really had going for it was that you didn't know what the f@ck is going on. I saw it a second time with almost full knowledge of the underlying schemes and it was boring as hell.

Fantastic film!!
Lynch is a true master, a complete fine artist, and I'm amazed by the control he has over his movies. He does part of the music, edits with his wife, and has managed to remain mainstream whilst not surrendering to the studio's will.
It's a big success in europe

I saw this movie at the New York Film Festival in October. I decided that I probably would have beat David Lynch up if we went to junior high together. This movie was slightly more tolerable than the worst two movies I've ever seen -- Pi and Requiem for a Dream. If you want good surreal cinema, stick with the real masters (like Fellini or Bunuel).
