Used to download all of my tunes back in the day, always said if they made them a buck i would go mainstream... and i did but there is some rare stuff i miss getting.

i get on mininova.org find a torrent link and then download it through utorrent.

Limewire scares me now with the amount of that's on there.

Mininova is nice. It's a website and if you download utorrent and make it the default torrent downloader then once you open the torrent from mininova utorrent will automatically download, kind of like limewire does just insdie the actual program.

Other than limewire I have some friends who have had great success with bearshare.

 

Torrents work for me. I use isohunt.com

i downloaded the free craptastic version of limewire.

the first thing i did was typed "LimeWire PRO" into the search box and downloaded the installer for a recently released purchasable version.

i installed it and dumped the freebie version. now no more ads, throttling, or any of the other crap.
