I saw them live with 10,000 days.
not only was that album mediocre, but when I saw them on tour (finally, after they cancled and reschedualed twice), I was deeply disappointed. they weren't into it, maynard looked like he didn't want to be there, the lazer light show during wings for maria was pathetic, and the GA is a bunch of seats
a perfect circle was better, IMO.

I watched about 20 minutes of it. . . . . . same circle jerk, same weasals backstage, different clowns on stage.
My only consolation is that the one ROYAL jerkoff I personally know (A V.P. at Universal) openly admits he hires 3 interns who's sole job is to make sure he knows what's "cool. . "
. . . and that's just for clothing/cars/eateries, and maybe who's flying high on the CMJ radar.
Any actual money-making music is handled by one of his actual employees. . .
. . . yes, you too can get into this glamorous profession.
i don't really know a lot of the artists on there, but how did daft punk with for hfbs? i'm pretty sure discovery came out in 2006 or 2007.
also, i've seen tool get booed off the stage...hahaha.
