I did manage to get myself into a regular playing habit again, although the past few weeks it has been more sparse. I have my other electric (old Ibanez) set up at work with a small practice amp I bought so late in the day I sometimes will just plug in and play while reviewing documents and stuff. And, by the way, I am really liking this little practice amp. Cheap, sounds plenty good for small room practice stuff, and while I use the power adaptor, you can run it off batteries. Its built in delay and overdrive work pretty well for the price and size. I am going to take my old Boss DS-1 pedal in and plug it in to see how it works with it one day as well. For size reference, you can hold this amp in one outstretched hand. It is very small!

Cool. I used to have one of the little Marshall half stack mini amps that sounds like it was the same size, maybe even smaller. They may still make them, not sure. Not the best sounding with basically a clock radio speaker, but it was cute and I could take it anywhere being batt powered. I think they make a lot better sounding micro amps today, the Marshall half stack was more of a cute novelty.

4 coats of Tru-oil and wet sanded/grain filled with 400 grit. I'm going to slowly work my way up to 1,500 grit over the next week. Shooting for 20-25 thin coats and a semi-gloss finish.
