We were at a tradeshow and were asked if they could do a segment on our lighting technology I was crusing through youtube and found the clip.

Great concept and energy savings. If the typical fluorescent fixture and 4 bulbs is around $60(guess) to the consumer, what would the LED equivalent cost?

 

That's the hard part of what we're doing now, our fixture with a similar light output is about $300.00

Then again, there is zero maintenance for the life of the fixture 5-15 years, reduced heat, and a superior quality of light, so I can show a decent ROI.

When we get these things down to about $150, we'll be in a very good position, there will be no argument not to go with them.

I think the technology is pretty damn cool. I will be mad when all of my X10 home automation equipment no longer functions because I can't dim the stupid fluorescent replacement bulbs that are coming out.

Thanks guys. It's been a blast building this company up, it's of course going to be tough in the beginning, but we're on the cutting edge which is cool.

I knew before I even started with this that it was the future of lighting, just waiting for Phillips to offer us a hundred mil and we're outta there!
