Befriend Hollywood producer types and score yourself a screener copy. Screw waiting a month.

I hear there's a really good screener out there. In alt.binaries.movies.divx maybe or there might be a torrent.

Not that I'd ever steal a movie.

And thread highjacking is allowed in off-topic.

Allowed? Maybe. Happens? Sometimes. Appreciated? Not Really.

I couldn't speak to that, and have nothing to do with it, but a friend of a friend of a friend is a Hollywood producer type, and somehow my friend came up with the screener, that' was how I watched NCFOM a few weeks ago. There's enough of those things floating around I'm surprised there aren't more rips of them out there for the tech savvy/morally bankrupt

And sorry for the jack, but aren't threads about moved and deleted threads kinda frowned upon anyway? Maybe this is this thread's saving grace.

That was a phenomenal scene. The first time you watch it, just creeps you out with how well it's played out.

And I don't think of this as thread highjacking [especially in OT], more like.... making the most out of a boring thread.

I'd agree with both of those statements. Not sure who I'd put as creepier between Hopkins and Bardem, I'd like to Hopkins but I'd be biased toward age. I saw Silence of the Lambs when I was...like 12 so of course it rattled me loose a bit. No Country for Old Men was one of the first movies I've seen in a decade that moved very slowly and I didn't even notice. Bardem had a presence on the screen unmatched by most, the scene of him and the gas station owner, talking about a lucky coin just being a coin...that was another eye opener.

It's strange, right after seeing the movie I was iffy at best, but the more it's settled in the more I've come to appreciate it.

Speaking of lambs, have you guys seen this Southpark. I was literally ROTFLOL, and thought I was going to burst something internally.
