It's been days and I'm really annoyed: my left upper eyelid shakes (kinda like the muscle's tensing) uncontrollably for no reason! Does anyone know why this is happening? Lack of sleep? Stress?

No, I'm not smoking, snorting, injecting, or swallowing any illegal substances

(now awaiting for a flood of smartass remarks )

I have this all the time, it's stress related it's kind of like a muscle spasm. It goes away after a few days.

Kick back a nice muscle relaxent and a couple beers. I bet that twitch will go away. Just don't plan on driving after that. Go guarantees that it wont come back though.

Try a little alcohol or a Beta-blocker (high blood pressure pill.)

strange occurrance indeed Rich. It used to happen to me quite a bit, could have been stress or anxiety, but ever since I was 'broken' by a friend of mine driving all over Florida refusing to turn off his turn signal, I have never been the same. (true story!)

Mine used to do that all the time, too, but hasn't anymore since I got glasses.
