I was just hanging around the house tonight when my neighbor across the street called to ask if Mark, my next door neighbor, bought a Ferrari. I knew he'd been looking, so I had to go check it out. He picked up a red 348, looks awesome despite being 10 yrs. old! Of course I had to go for a ride...the first thing I noticed is that you have to be quite an acrobat to get in. My right knee was almost fully bent to clear the door opening, and the seat was tight (or is my ass just too big?). It made the S2000's seats feel like benches.

As expected, it feels, sounds, accelerates, and brakes great. He didn't drive it super hard, but I have a feeling that my S2K would give it a respectable run. He offered to let me drive it, but I'm gonna wait until the daytime. He even said he may bring it along on one of our S2k drives!

My neighbor across the street is on the list for a new M3 soon, too (I was going to take his spot until I discovered how valuable it was on EBay) - damn, it's hard keeping up w/ the Jones' these days!

 

oooooooh man! okay I gotta come back home to see it now. I swear Chris, that neighbor of yours is too friggin cool. and the ride in that cobra - awe yea!
