This weekend I got some new koi for my pond. Woohoo! Anybody else here keep koi?

Hey there..fellow Koi keeper here as well. Originally from the UK, I became accustomed to the high quality of Japanese koi readily accessible to me. Here in Canada, American and Israeili koi are the norm with VERY few Japanese koi avail. I have seen pet stores try and market koi as "Japanese" and charge a premium, when in fact they aren't even Japanese! The ones you have look Grade A Spec. Wonder if they would ship to Canada? *grin* I especially like the Kohaku. The black and white one is nice as well. What are they called again? Utsuri? I can't quite remember.

My bride, JAGlady, has two koi in her pond. She's taught them to eat from her hand and "tail dance" like Flipper!
j/k about the tail dance thing. They really do eat from her hand though.
