They are illegal in some states like cali and colorado and you need a permit in other states. mine was $30 when he was about 3 or 4 inches. now i could sell him for about $50 or so. you can find out where to buy some at www.piranha-fury.com

My brother had a tank with a green terror, oscar, and an arowana. After a while he added in a peacock bass.. and damn.. that thing was fast... the arowana wasn't hitting his quota after a while....

my brother would reach down into the bucket that he kept the feeders in... grab one by hand.... open the lid of the tank, throw the fish in(with some velocity) and the peacock bass would snap the guy up before the momentum of my brothers throw would stop the fish.... when my brother would walk by the tank they'd all follow him to the other side )
