My remote batteries are dying really fast!!!
My brother bought me a thin profile cd/radio player, it came along with a thin remote. My problem is that the battery dies out really fast. It uses those round and flat batteries. It's a 3 volt CR2032 battery. It dies in like one month. These babies are $4 or $5 each and I don't wanna pay that once a month just to get my remote to work. That would be like $50 a year I can buy a shiftknob with that money!
There's no way an infrared remote should consume batteries at that rate. My guess is that you have a short in the remote somewhere. You could either repair it, or just replace the remote. How expensive could it be?
