but not as fun as the S2K. The S4 is an awesome car and is very comfortable to drive. The power comes on strong and early. The ride is a little soft for me but seems to corner pretty well. Compared to the S2K the only common thing between the two is SPEED. Everything else is so much different. For additional 8K more than the S2K you get quite a bit in terms of luxo features climate control, heated seats, auto dimming mirrors (inside and out), nice stock sound system (Bose), cd changer, trip computer, leather is nicer, the look and feel of the dash is a step above the S2K, full size spare with matching wheel. Very nice amenities and the feel of the leather seats is awesome.
On the performance side, the S4 "feels" faster than the S2K but a few weeks ago I was next to a S2K on the freeway and we both dropped the hammer at 70 and he walked away easily wasn't even close. Handling there is no comparision, the S2K is hands down better in the twisties. For long trips on freeway roads the S4 would be my preferred car, in the twisties, S2K all the way. However, the S4 with the all wheel drive handles quite well. You just don't feel the road like you do with the S2K. Both cars are fun but the smile factor is much greater in the S2K IMO.
The HID's are better on the S2K. Much sharper and project alot further than the S4.
The S4 is the perfect mate for the S2K....sunny days = S2K....cold, rainy days = S4. Both are great performers and will keep up with most cars on the road.
