Seriously going home to get changed just to avoid being naked in front of men is nothing to be proud of IMO, it just shows that you're insecure. Im 23 years old and while I don't loiter in the gym with my gear out I have no problems sitting in the steam room on a towel or getting changed into some briefs as long as there isn't any little kids around. Even if there was kids around do you think that you're protecting them by making them feel that they should be ashamed of their bodies? Do you allow your kids to get changed in front of each other?



Maybe its because I've always played football and got used to showering after the game but I feel that as long as what you are doing is appropriate then there's no reason to be ashamed of it. In saying that I do believe that using shared equipment to dry your genitals is highly inappropriate but the information given in paivag's post I really dont see a dismissable offence. Was it a gym change room or a public toilet?

Yeah, this is exactly why I powerwalk through the locker room at my gym. Insecurity plays no part in this at all, at least for me. I personally don't see what makes it so cool to be standing around (sometimes talking to some other dude) with your dork out in the open.

It also depends on what time of day you go to the gym...sometimes, if you're unlucky enough, you walk into the locker room and it's a sausage fest...

 

I started one of these threads about a year ago except there were no kids involved.......but......

there were two guys talking for about 5 minutes on the other side of the locker....when i went to leave the one guy was buckass naked talking for 5+++ minutes to the other guy....???

how do you talk to a naked guy..... i would put my hand in front of my face and try to embarrass them.??

 

The only thing that interrupts you from talking to a naked guy are you inhibitions, they're still the same person only you can't handle the fact that they are comfortable in their own skin

Explain to me in legitimate terms, what difference a piece of cloth makes when conversing with someone. I'll tell you the difference, its the stigma that's created by those who are too insecure to be comfortable and need to ridicule those that are to make themselves feel better.

Dizing, you need to grow up and realise that its no longer cool to hate people based on the way they live their lives. Stating that you hate homosexuals is just as unacceptable as stating that you hate asians or hispanics and its obvious from this thread that you put up your shield of hate because you're own sexuality is threatened in your mind when you catch yourself looking at other guy's in the locker room.

Really the reason these guys are comfortable walking around naked is because they have better things to do then check each other out and assume that you do too. Is that an unfair expectation?

 

so...... you are the guy who was in the locker room the other day buck naked talking to people!!!!!

put a towel over your dick..... some of us are not into seeing another guys dick.... just not my thing.... and certainly not what I want my kids to see! Sure when they are in highschool and take showers after sports, that is one thing but seeing some dudes hairy balls is not what i think 8 year olds need to see.

you should wear a lab coat and bring in one of those hi-tech laser rulers and start pointing it at naked dudes' johnsons and pretend to be logging down data on a clipboard

 

Scot I used to be a GM at a Bally Total Fitness and I used to see some really wierd sh!t....very very old men (w/ dickydo's ) shaving naked in front of the mirrors....caught a guy shaving in the hot tub and another in the sauna....a few other things that were just sick (use your imagination and then think worse ).....the people that make this world go round

 

shaving at the gym? thats a lil to much info....lol
