When I was in college in some business class, we had to make video skits about some kind of business situation or some such thing. So, my buddy was in a group that made a video where another friend of ours played the boss. He was being introduced to a new hire named Mitch (though you can substitute anyone's name for Mitch). Upon being introduced to Mitch, the boss said, "Mitch, can I call you 'Dick?'" Still cracks me up twelve years or so later. Maybe you had to see the video, though...

Our accountant is named Dick, I always have to give the boss the message "hey Dick called for you".

In high school one of my friends was named Michael Hawkis, we called him Mike Hawk.
