Default Napkin thiefs

Today at work I was doing a service on a TL. Part of the service is to replace the A/C filters that are located behind the glove box. Well I start my usual routine of taking everything out the glove box so I can remove it to get to the filters. I started thinking and noticed something. Almost every car I've worked on have a lot of extra napkins in there glove box, mainly from fast food places.

My question is.....so how many of you out there are napkin thieves?? As in you grab a whole bunch while your there and put them in your car for personal use. I know I do.

Napkins! Great idea!

I always swipe the little mayo and relish packs so I can make tuna salad when I'm on the road. If you've ever woke up in Japan at 2am and no stores are open, you'd know what I mean!

In college we used to nick those little paper cups some places provide for ketchup. We'd liberate all we could get our hands on and use them for jello shots.

When we figured out a local restaurant supply place sold them by the 100s for dirt cheap we started buying them.

Hey, if I'm going through the drive-through and they give me 5 napkins and I only use 1, then I'm entitled to put the remainder in my glove box.

On a similiar note, I was wondering one day why the air coming out of the vents in my beater CRX was kinda of weak, so I go searching around behind the dash and what do I find. I found a fast food napkin had gotten sucked into the intake vent. This intake vent happens to sit right next to the glove box. Hehehehe.

If you're Asian, you've either done it before or have had a mom that did it frequently. Doesn't even matter how rich you are, it still will happen

I just got back from Japan, and we also noticed that there are not a lot of napkins. Even those that supply then, I wouldn't call them real napkins, they are like plastic paper. Its really weird, you can't really use it for anything. They suck badly... I just carried kleenex wherever i went. That seemed to work better.

Hehehe, in Asia you're lucky if they provide toilet paper, literally, why would you think they'd provide something to wipe your hands when they don't provide anything to wipe your butt

Yobri, I know EXACTLY what you mean. My grandmother grabs everything she can whenever we go eat...napkins, ketchup, soy sauce packets (hello, we have like gallon size soy sauce containers at home), doesn't matter, it's called being frugal....or is it called being cheap
