I used to work for NASA, and if they're calling a press conference then it should be something significant, maybe potential signs of plant life based on spectrum analysis?

But then again they may say "we think we found water 12 light years away"

Maybe re-announcing the use of the space planes, maybe with private interests. They recently moved back from the Air Force to NASA...
