Default National Geographic Collections

I am visiting my parents for the holidays, and my dad was just telling me that he wants to get rid of his National Geographic magazine collection all the way back from 1951 til 2002. It's funny and at the same time so cool to see all the adds and articles from back in the days.

I said I would rather keep them at least for myself, but I'm not sure if I'd have time to look at them.
We have about +500 of them in mint condition.
Do you guys think it'd worth anything if we decide to get rid of them?

it might be worth something if it's complete without any missing issues.
throw it up on ebay.
i think it's neat. so that means theres gotta be somebody out there who is willing to pay $$ for it.
