need help with my computer!
First off, you are gonna need to get Outlook and Internet Explorer reinstalled. Outlook requires Outlook Express to function and Outlook Express comes with IE. If your Operating system isn't allowing it then you need to correct it or reinstall the OS. If you can get it working without reinstalling your OS, then I would suggest cleaning up your temporary files. Temp files can reek havok on office products. Post if you need instructions on cleaning up temp files.

yep...that is the move to make if you can...get a copy of XP and reload from scratch...remember to save any pst files, bookmarks, and personal documents before killing everything if that is what you are gonna do.
good luck

alrite update:
this is wut i did, i went into msconfig and extracted a few files that would restore my windows installer thing.. and basically i'm back to square one whre my outlook wont start up. i reinstalled outlook express and ie and it wont work. i tried clearing temp files, didnt work.
so yea, right now, i don't have a windows ME cd, it came pre-installed on the comp. I have a win98 cd i think. but isn't that "downgrading" and will it screw up a lot of programs? or will it work fine. And i don't exactly wanna go and buy XP.. how much is it, like 100 bucks? and i heard there's a lot of compatibility issues

It sounds to me like the .pst file that Outlook opens by default has gotten corrupted, since the Euroda conversion didn't display any emails. Does Outlook open? Can you then open another .pst file from File...Open?
I don't think this is OS-related, it sounds to me like it's .pst-related.
I know of a few tools at msft.com that goes after the .pst files and does integrity checking, etc. Poke around their website for such tools and try them. I'll see if I can find a link for you...
