Default need to make dinner plans

I'm going out with someone tonight that's allergic to gluten. I don't have time to do research on it or anything, so I'm hoping someone can chime in. I was planning on going to a sushi place, but I'm not sure what has gluten or not.

so I'm planning on sushi, but don't want go somewhere she can't eat.

TIA.

From Wikipedia:

A gluten-free diet is a diet completely free of ingredients derived from gluten-containing cereals: wheat (including Kamut and spelt), barley, rye, oats and triticale.

Or, try this gluten-free restaraunt finder:

P.S., maltodextrin has gluten

One of my best friends has to avoid gluten and it's pretty easy once you know what to avoid. No regular breads, no fried food. Meats and vegatbles are fine but no regular pasta. Rice noodles mostly for pasta. The one thing that really bites is no beer.

Sushi should be excellent for someone with a gluten free diet (if they can deal with sushi)

the funny thing is that she doesn't even eat meat off the bones, but she wants to be adventurous so I'll hope that trend continues the rest of the day.
