I generally like polarized ones. Big 5 usually has some pretty nice serengetti's for 50-100 bucks. I got a pair of smith's from them in that price range too.

Also check this out:

No help here, I buy $20 el cheapos. Not because I'm hard on them. 'Cause I'm cheap. I still have a pair that I bought in 1992 that look like new.

I bought a pair of Oakley Juliets that I beat the shit out of. The lenses and scratched to hell.. the rubber ear grips are toast. but the black titanium frames are in perfect shape.

Best part is.. everything I fubar'd is replaceable through Oakley. Well worth the $350..

Polarized is nice but it'll break the $50 budget pretty easily
the link i posted is to a bunch of fossil sunglasses all under $50 and about half are polarized.

and guys, where are you getting $50 oakleys? thought they pretty much started at 100+, and i *know* they charge a bunch extra for polarized lenses...

I like persol's. They're a bit more then what you are looking for but imo very nice and worth it. I got the 2244 (Same ones as James Bond in Casino Royale) and found them for $130.
