Well it's the 2nd semester of my Freshman year in College and I found this awesome girl that I am about to start a relationship with. Last night I was talking to her on the phone, and she said all her dates have consist of going to the movies/out to eat. I just wondered if any one has any Romantic Date ideas for a college student (Only have a little bit of spending money, can't cook because there is no kitchen).

 

get fast food, go star gazing, drive around town, buy her a sweet dessert, and if you really like her go window shopping

 

Hmm... star gazing isn't too bad of an idea! I'll just wait until it gets warmer so I can have the top off and just look at the stars from inside the car...

Window shopping... check... lol

 

What MMKK said is my suggestion too -- sometimes the simple and somewhat planned/somewhat unplanned dates are the most comfortable and memorable. Good luck man!

 

be smooth. take her out to a nice dinner. flowers help too, no roses though. at least not yet because they give off a love vibe and she might take it the wrong way. also, if it's cold enough do something playful like ice skating then have some dessert at a cafe.

This isn't exactly "romantic," but it's a great way to get to know somebody, IMO. Basically, take her to any crowded place. Like a mall or some such. There's so much going on, you'll always have plenty to talk about, and you can watch her reactions to a number of different things. What makes her laugh? What stores is she drawn to? What does she say somebody does X? Does she make snide comments about the way people dress? Does she hate little kids? Does she get all mushy when she sees to old people holding hands? Etc. etc. It'll be up to you to add in some spontaneity. Don't want to make it a lame evening.
