Default Need some help with Cakewalk...

OK guys, I need some help with my Cakewalk program, I don't have the manual and it's givin' me fits (hell, Photoshop was easier to figure out than this crap).

I have MSN IM, 2 minutes of your time is all I need, any musicians wanna' help me out?

I'm trying to use it like a 4-track, but I'm having some issues...lol. After I record track 1 and set up to record track 2, it mutes track 1 when I press record. Unfortunately, I need to hear track 1 to play track 2. Weird.

hmm, not sure on how to fix that. I'll ask my friend when he gets online about that.

Be sure that the M next to the track you are trying to hear is not clicked, thats the mute for the track. Thats the only thing I can think of.

***Edit: Asked my friend and he said that either the mute button is pushed or theres a conflict between your recording and output devices.***
