Hey guys, I am working on an art project that deals with the engineering and speed aspects of racing. It always helps to have outside inout on things like this becasue you tend to get narrow minded when working on your own.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas for textures and images (will be carved from clay, so not too complex), I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks!!

Dunno if this helps, but the first image that popped into my head was a steering wheel, with a racing gloved hand at 3 o'clock extending to the mid forarm and then fading a way, sort of a like a tearing look, but not in a gruesome way.

 

That would actually be a really neat idea and could work well into my design. Thanks for the thought, I think I will use it!

I think it would be cool to model some tarmac with tire tread in it.
