i was gonna try and help by finding A inverse but for a 6x6? not thanks. just use a calculator

It's a pretty sparse 6x6; Gaussian elimination shouldn't take more than about 10 minutes.

Or, you can use the MINVERSE function in Excel; it's quicker.

No, statics. I typed exactly what I meant.

Statics = non-moving loads/simple interaction/
Dynamics = moving loads/energy equations/laws of motion

He has what appear to be reaction loads in multiple directions/angles, which lends itself to it possibly being a truss/brace problem or even something as simple as a 3D beam.

Or just plug it into Matlab.

I never actually did and calculations by hand for matrices larger than 3x3 after Diff Eq.

but yea. i never really tried to do anything more than 4x4 by hand unless specifically told otherwise. anything else i just plugged into my trusty ti calculator, which is all but 10 seconds

Honestly, I think Bill is definitely the resident "answer" guy for anything math related. He remembers things I might have learned but have definitely forgotten.
