dude, it doesn't. I know basic networking, but I've never heard of a cable connection through USB and I don't remember ever seeing a router that supported one.

I've seen plenty of modems with USB or Ethernet with USB converters attached.....never seen one with both though. That's kinda cool.

Ravskau - did you buy yours or was it provided by the service provider?

My old DSL connection was through USB, but I was under the impression that allmost all cable connections plugged directly into the NIC from the modem.

That would be pretty cool if it had both connections though, would definitely make my life a lot easier.

Nobody happens to have a router they want to sell do they????

Maybe in a few days....only been used for about 3 weeks. If you are seriously interested and willing to wait until next week I could probably ship it to you. I'm going to go wireless.

Your trick worked, they are sending me one with a RJ45 jack. Now all I need is to buy your router, and I'll be good to go.
