Unhappy Need tips on verifying fund$$

so i might be selling a big ticket item soon, and im pretty sure the potential buyer
would rather not meet me with a suit case of cash...

im wondering, aside from escrow.com, does anyone have any other tips on verifying
checks, (cashier/personal) and money orders?

thanks

wire transfer? Both of you go to the bank together, and have your bank verify the validity of a cashier's check before transferring ownership?

Maybe make an appointment with a bank officer and ask their recommendations.

A bank wire transfer will run you between $25 and $45. The money is there immediately.

A cashiers check should be reliable as well.

Go to his bank with him (or meet him there), and stand there as he has a cashier's check issued to you in the correct amount.
