The Neptunes own me. They are the only "rap/hip pop" I listen to nowadays. I'm sure Evo can relate. Nothing beats early-mid 90's rap. Now it's all Nelly/Nelly sounding rappers/Eminem/Snoop/50 Cent, and one hit wonders.

 

You mean N.E.R.D. The Neptunes are the producers who make music for other groups, N.E.R.D. is the name that they perform under. Im seeing them in concert on Saturday!

And I don't consider Eminem or Snoop as one hit wonders. Snoop has been on the scene for 10 years and Eminem, well just say he has talent. His record sales should speak for himself. As for 50, close to 6 million records sold ain't bad. Rap is all about making money and thats something they are all good at.

i saw NERD in concert last year and their shows are awesome, i'm not a huge fan of rap/hip hop but it was a good show.

the only rap cds i have in rotation are some tribe called quest and digable planets (both albums). i like good flow...

 

The album is coming out! So I will go buy it soon. I was just saying that all you hear are the big dogs, and one hit wonders. Oh well...

 

Yea, those guys are everywhere. From Jay-Z to Justin Timberlake, those guys get around.
