Default network setup

hey guys i am having trouble getting my wireless setup. I had this setup in my old home and then all of a sudden when i try to setup it in my new home it doesnt work.

it seems as though there is no wifi signal being sent out. When my other computers are searching for networks, it cant find the one i setup. also i dont see the sifi icon lighted up on the router.

i have a linksys wrt310n.

running wires througout the house is really annoying and this trippiong over them is getting to be a pain. not to mention how ugly it is running wires all over the floor.

Try hard resetting the router, usually that is done by putting a paper clip in that little pn hole sized button next to the ports. Hold it down for about 10 seconds, and pull the power on it. Keep holding... Then let go, and plug it back in. IF that doesn't work, there is a slight chance it could have been damaged in transit. Those things are delicate!

Can you login to the router and make sure the WiFi option is turned on? Default password on Linksys equipment should be "admin".
