I can't believe that that actually sang a song about a 50cc scooter. When you had the faring (sp) and windshield it could do 50 on a good day down hill with the wind at your back.

 

you're probably right, the song refers to a 50cc step thru...however in the mid to late 60's a 305 superhawk or a 305 scrambler was a formidable rocket..[as i remember...but then again ,not a lot of the 60's stuck to the old memory bank...]
