I don't know about you... I just finished a bachelors [sic] degree in finance and know what a straddle | and how to create a synthetic forward.

Maybe your [sic] doing it wrong?

I haven't touched any books since June after I finished my CFA L2 exam.
Option strategies are covered in the Level III curriculum; a Level II candidate may never have seen specific option strategies.

Synthetic derivatives are covered at Level III as well.

Then I must've gotten it mixed with the upper level derivative securities course I took in university. In that case, then it makes even more sense that I forgot everything since that's almost 2 years ago.

It's under my impression that a CFA will do little to help in IB...

This is just what I've been told.

Little help in finding your first job, but it will help you in terms of advancement if you already have one.

First job is always a PITA anyway.

I thought a straddle was what Magician does on his horse if he doesn't have a saddle.

My puppy (now 10 y.o. and 100 lbs.) thanks you. I sent you the website where I got her. (also Arabian horse related)
