I had about 4,500hrs in the ERJ and was never able to hold CA at a regional. I met the right people to get hire at Spirit. The 1st year pay is about the same I was making, luckily second year gets me more than what I would have made as a CA at my regional

A lot, lol All the ratings/license etc cost me probably just north of $30,000 maybe....I got my first airline job at 1,500hrs or so, the rest of the hrs were when I was working.
