I posted lastnight asking this question, but my post seems to have evaporated. So, I ask again: Does anybody know anything about that new Lex Roadster? The commercial is in French, so I didn't understand the words but the car looked beautiful. Somewhat like an SLK, only sportier. Anybody know about it? How quick? Handling? If this post disappears too, I'll suspect a conspiracy. Something to do with our secret compart perhaps.

It's a "big" car... certainly not very sporty in my books.

Just a wild guess here, but check http://www.lexus.com or one of the more popular auto-mag sites.

Also, calling it a roadster is a bit of a stretch. Its a luxury convertible.

I parked my S2000 next to a neurosurgeon's new silver Lexus convertible. I feel that the S2000 looks much sportier, like a roadster should. I'd agree that the Lexus is more like a luxury convertible; it seems rather big and bulbous next to the S2K. I very much prefer my car.

300 hp V-8, lots of torque, etc.; however, not much of a sportscar and costs about $60K or better. It does have a retractable metal convertible top, ala the Mercedes SLK. It's much better for cruising Woodward Ave. than attacking the twisties like the Stook. In addition, I think the ass-end looks like an Acura CL.
