Default New Metallica Album

So what do you all think of the new metallica album? its supposed to be a "modern version of 'and justice for all" I kinda think they lost it after the black album, but death magnetic seems to be getting back to old metallica sound, what do you all think?

I've only heard the first single, but when he got to the part "love is a four letter word" I changed the channel.

Plus, I think Kirk has a computer program that spits out solos for him, the rhythm is all over the place.. at least James can keep proper time.

There may be better songs on the album, but based on that single, I'm not impressed

It's like the first half of the new single is trying to please the post-Black album fans while the second half is for the old school fans. But neither one does its job very well.

At least they went back to the old logo. Rick Rubin must've made them do it.

wanted to like it, but another fail. they are just not what they used to be, especially live. this is some of their best work in quite a while, but still rather pathetic

sad to say, but I hope they just go away so that most will still know them for Kill Em thru the black album

i'm glad someone else liked it, seems like me and you are the only ones. I havent baught a metallica album since the black album, they are getting there sound back. But there older albums came from good jams sessions, this one seems more planned.
