New RIAA Lawsuit

Is this retarded or what? Now they're saying that you can't copy a CD that you legally own onto your personal computer. By default, that also means you can't copy it to your MP3 player as well, or whatever you use to listen to your music other than a stereo.
How far are these idiots going to go? As the article states, past cases have set precedents that allow for copying material you legally own or purchase for purposes of portability or access. To state that you cannot copy to a computer (or other device) means that you have limited access to your OWN PROPERTY.
Argh!
Thoughts?

what they need to do is embrace technology and use it to become more profitable instead of trying to impede it. if they didn't know, change is always imminent.
