Just found it on the Miata forum and thought I would post it. Here is what the link said:

In today's Cleveland Plain Dealer (newspaper) a picture of what the Mazda folk are planning for the M3. IMHO it looks TERRIBLE! The caption said it will be made in 2003 and relased as a 2004 model. If this is what we have to look "forward" to, then I think the M1's are gonna be even MORE desired!

uhhhhhh...that looks quite disturbing. they can't be serious, can they? killing classic lines like that? ugh!

 

Ack.. its looks like a TT exploded all over an RX8. I understand wanting to have a design theme throughout all their cars, but have a good one, please.

 

It reminds me of the current Toyota Celica body style...

Put a fork in the Miata it is done.. Looks like ford helped design it. Sad ending to a fun goodlookin car..

 

When did the chief designer from Isuzu move to Mazda?

 

It looks like they chisseled that design out of a rock, very pathetic.

 

It looks too similar to the RX-8, IMO. Any news if they're going to add real power this time?

 

I like it better than the older ones with the popup light
