Nextel I860 camera phone...
Okay, so I'm concidering upgrading to the 860 simply because its pimp, but If it has no flash on the camera, i'm just gonna grab a 830 at a discount because i have a 1.3 mp that fits in my pocket, (Aiptek) and to be honest, the quality of pics isnt all that bad, alot of good times at parties w/ this little pocket buddy, stores like 15 pics, dump them on the comp when its all over...
wow, I got off topic, okay, so does anyone now if it will have flash or not?

I'm gonna get this one also, but I don't remember it having a flash on it (had a link to a Flash demonstration of all its new capabilities, but the link is dead now). I would think that a flash would be too energy intensive on the already not too impressive Nextel Motorola platform...
OT, but some of the new gadgets include picture caller ID and a flip-open button, that is, besides the camera...

It is a very cool phone. We get to start selling it as of Monday.
It does not have a flash. It does have a "spotlight" But, here are some specs:
[COLOR=blue]Built-in camera with spotlight-Built-in 310k camera for capturing images for personal and business purposes and send them to friends and colleagues.
Spotlight provides additional illumination, (24 inches of illumination. Light must be manually turned on upon each use.) and 4x digital zoom increases usability. User can adjust picture size (up to 640 x 480 pixels) and picture quality (fine/normal).
Multimedia Messaging (MMS)- Send and receive multimedia messages (either audio, images, text or all three in the same message) to email addresses, other
Nextel i860 users and wirelessly upload multimedia on a personalized Nextel web site. The i860 is the first of Nextel's handsets to have this feature.
Direct Send Contacts- Send contact information in your handset instantly via the
PTT button to other Direct Send capable handsets. The i860 is the first of Nextel

Hopefully it grabs a signal better than the 830. I'm getting sick of having to go outside and turn my head sideways to hear complete sentences. I miss my 4 pound i90

No...Really, it does't pick up as well as many of the Nextel phones including you i90.

grr, call quality was going to be my next issue, because i think nextels is TERRIBLE! It is almost a guarantee for me to have to repeat myself and ask that the person I'm talking to repeat theirselves at least 4 times during a single conversation....
Maybe I'll just hit up verison or t-mobel when my shits over with in a couple months...

I've used it, and like it. Don't forget about the $0.25 a photo charge to send the picture.....unless you sign up to our $10 or $15 mms package.
The screen resolution is nice, and the display is significantly bigger than the 730/830.
And regarding the signal quality, it has been worse lately.....they're blaming that on a "re-tune" of the network.
