And stop yelling at the pharmacists because your damn insurance changed your plan and isn't covering your damn Viagra anymore! It's not their damn fault!

but i hear ya- i once was a cashier at this golf range...
people, be nice to cashiers!

I used to work at a chinese restaurant as a waitress and I feel ya! Some customers treated me with a low level attitude. Some would even yell at me just because their food got cold after it had been sitting there for an hour. I just simply at them and try to resolve the problem while they go . I learned so much from these people: customers are always right... just at them and add ingredients in their food.

I hope the customers out there are learning their lessons too.

It's obvious that some people here have never been on the other side of the counter. I worked at a bagel bakery for 1.5 years when i was 16. not only were we cashiers, but food preparers, cleaning staff and bakers. BE NICE TO THE PERSON WHO SERVES YOUR BAGELS, if you're not you never know if any "special sauce" might be added to your sandwich. Bottom line, people are people and deserve to be treated as such even if (especially) if they have a shitty job that you wouldn't ever dream of taking in your life.

There already ARE machines to check yourself out. I've used them at K-Mart. They take just as long as a cashier doing the job for you.
