I want to know all your thoughts on this movie..

Having spent 5 days a week at concerts in high school, this movie felt like a totally accurate portrayal of my teenage years .As such, it replaced American Beauty and Closer as my favorite movie. It seems like 99% of people thought it was choppy and pedestrian. I

 

I rented it, held on to it for 5 days and my wife could not find time to sit down and watch it. I ended up returning it without ever watching it.

 

I liked it, it was cute and had a decent soundtrack. But I went to a couple concerts and then quit.

I almost got splooged on during an INXS concert because some stoned girl was giving a stoned guy service during the warm up band and decided pointing it in the general direction of someone else instead of swallowing was a good idea. And the speakers were so over the top at that show my ears rang for a day and a half. So I followed a rule of outdoor venues only for several years after that.

So did it hit home? No. But I liked it, so did the wife.

 

I wish girls had huge tits like that back when I was in highscool...

90% of critics didn't like it.

I think the only people who got it were the ones who lived through the same sort of time in their life.

 

Didnt see it, but every time I see that actress I think of a naughty Hilary Duff

 

Their were alot of little tricks in the movie. It was interested how the main girl and the boys ex girlfriend were good friends, and how the main girl had a crush on her friends boyfriend but didn't know it was him, all she knew was the mix cd's. I really liked how they met all randomly and how they were able to develop the story around it. I tend to like those sappy love stories.
