Nonpolitically, what do you think of the Bush tax cut plan?

"Those who know what's best for us must rise and save us from ourselves." - Rush

I think the government needs all the money we can give them and I send them extra every year to aid whatever it is that they decide to do with it.

NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT

Now, to be serious. Give me the respect that I am smart enough to provide for myself and my family, give me the benefit of the doubt that I won't fritter everything away on crack, have enough faith in me, the american consumer, that I am generous and farsighted enough to realize the what I contribute to useful charitable organizations that I choose will come back to me in spades, and so, finally GIVE ME MY MONEY!!!!

I never thought I'd see the day when people didn't want less taxes.

The thing I don't understand is why it takes 3 billion dollars to teach kids how to read.

I support the tax cut 99%. (I would give it my full support if it were bigger!)

If you have a concern about education, immediately take your refund (or extra take-home pay) to the nearest school and buy books, lunches, or give the best teacher in the school a bonus. If you have concern about helping the homeless, go downtown and take the hungriest-looking homeless person you can find to dinner (and, well, home with you if you REALLY want to end the problem.)

The main thing is to first get back the money that was removed from your paycheck. Only then can it be wisely spent!

I think the government wastes alot of money (think Defence and other corporate welfare programs.) That said: I think the average person gets more dollar benefit than they pay (think the roads you drive on. Using the "I'm the only smart person" argument, perhaps you ought to take your favorite twisty road to dinner. ;D

There's only two enterprises the goverment set out to do that have been successful, the Manhattan project and the national highway system.

Other than that, gimme my money.
